Junior quad bikes; Recommended for kids aged 8 to 12 years, this activity involves a leisure Park tour on junior buggies.
Senior quad bikes; Suitable for 13years and above. Explore the River, Forest and Chaka Dam tour on an adult sized quad bike.

History of Nanyuki Town

Nanyuki, a town located in Laikipia County, Kenya, has a fascinating history marked by its strategic location, colonial roots, and role as a gateway to some of the country's most spectacular natural attractions.

Early Beginnings Nanyuki was established in 1907 by British settlers. It is located on the Equator, approximately 195 kilometers north of Nairobi, at the base of Mount Kenya. The town's name, "Nanyuki," is derived from the Maasai word "Enyanyuki," which means "place of red water," referencing the reddish tint of the local river waters due to the iron-rich soil.

Colonial Era During the early 20th century, Nanyuki became an important center for British colonial settlers. The fertile lands and favorable climate attracted many Europeans who established farms and ranches in the area. The town grew as a result of agricultural development, with settlers growing crops and raising livestock. The construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway further boosted Nanyuki's significance.
